OER Textbooks | Criminal Justice

One of the most common complaints from faculty about using OER materials is that they don’t know how to find materials.  I’ve started to link resources and created a list of OER Textbooks organized by academic discipline.

Criminal Justice: An Overview of the System

This text by Adam McKee is housed on this site (DocMcKee.com) and is designed for an Introduction to Criminal Justice Course.  It is a brief overview and is designed to go along with the companion text Fundamental Cases in Criminal Justice.  Both texts are available in digital, eBook, and paper formats.

Fundamentals of Social Statistics

This text by Adam McKee is housed on this site (DocMcKee.com) and is designed as a Junior level survey of the use of statistics on social research.  The text is available in digital, eBook, and paper formats.

Fundamentals of Social Research

This text by Adam McKee is housed on this site (DocMcKee.com) and is designed for a sophomore level introduction to scientific inquiry in the social sciences as well as writing in the social sciences (with the APA style).  This text is available in a digital “working draft” and the print version is forthcoming.
