Course: Introduction

Within the Department of Justice, the Office of Attorney Recruitment & Management (OARM) exercises delegated authority to take final action in matters pertaining to the employment, separation, and general administration of Department attorneys and law students in grades GS-15 (or equivalent) and below.

It recruits, appoints, and determines their suitability for employment. OARM is also the Department’s adjudicative office in FBI Whistleblower cases.
